CINELERRA is the revolutionary Open Source HD media editing system, created and maintained by  the Heroine Warrior Company, and a talented pool of Free Software developers.  Cinelerra supports real-time 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p. and h.264 HD & SD profile  editing and effects processing.  The first Non-Linear editing system developed for 64 Bit technology technology, the LMA CINELERRA system is  a powerful and highly productive workstation  for  video and film production studios.Combined with our L-Server Systems Manager, we provide uncompressed HD and HD h.264 capture and playback and real time editing of multi-layer effects.  A built-in render farm also  With new customizable User-Interface tool apps, new plug-ins, as well as tools you design on your own, there is no other system which will provide  you as much design and engineering control along with  real-time processing power as this system.  Cinelerra won a Bob Turner MAKING THE CUT Award for innovation and technical achievement at the NAB Convention.  Cinelerra was the first NLE to operate on a 64-Bit system, in 2003.  Since then, Cinelerra tools have been implemented on numerous productions and in numerous studios to facilitate sharing and editing amongst professional users.

The CINELERRA system supports  SMPTE-292  and  SMPTE-259  native   10-bit and 12-bit resolution.    CINELERRA has a number of effects built into the system including numerous telecine effects,  video special effects including composites of multiple layers,  and a complex audio effects system.  We offer I/O compatibility support from AJA, DVS, Digital Rapids, and CMI.
